Key facts
- Chinese car apps deliver the verification code only to +86 numbers — SMS is never sent to numbers from other countries.
- No Chinese passport required: the number is issued against your international passport, name and surname in Latin letters.
- Issuance takes from 30 minutes to 2 hours after the issuance procedure starts.
- The number works as an eSIM: a separate profile, your main SIM keeps working. No QR code needed — SMS arrive in an app on the phone.
- The number does not work for WhatsApp, Telegram, Instagram or Facebook — Chinese numbers are not accepted there.
Avatr (Avatr 11, Avatr 12) was created as a joint project of Changan, Huawei and CATL — its app and accounts are designed for Chinese users. Outside China registration stops at the phone number: codes go only to +86.

How it is solved
- You send a request: phone, email, your name and surname in Latin letters as in your passport, and the passport number.
- We issue a Chinese +86 number as an eSIM, usually within one day.
- You install the eSIM; your primary SIM keeps working.
- You register in the Avatr App with the new number.
